Introducing Kimberly:

About Kimberly:

Kimberly is 34 and lives with her husband, Christopher and their two children – Alysa (19) and Alexander (11) in Michigan. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, gardening, camping and riding ATVs with her fmaily, and works full-time as an office manager. Kimberly brings a confident ground energy to everything she does.

Why She Wants to be a Surrogate:

Since completing her own family, Kimberly has dreamed of becoming a surrogate. She handles pregnancy well and feels called to help another family experience the gift of parenthood. After losing her second child, she deeply understands how precious that gift is and is ready to make this dream a reality.

Surrogacy Preferences:

Kimberly is open to transferring the safest number of embryos and is willing to carry up to two fetuses. She supports the intended parents’ choices on selective reduction and amniocentesis, preferring testing only when medically necessary. She fully understands the child is entirely the intended parents’. Kimberly is flexible about the level of contact during pregnancy and is open to pumping breast milk after delivery if desired.

Support and Stability:

Kimberly has a supportive husband and children, with her 19 year-old daughter offering to attend appointments and her son comfortable with her pregnancy. Her friends and extended family are also supportive. Together with her husband of over 15 years, they provide a stable, loving home. Kimberly works full-time, has reliable childcare, and is surrounded by a supportive community for her surrogacy journey.

Health and Lifestyle:

Kimberly has had three uncomplicated full-term pregnancies and does not smoke or drink often. After experiencing depression following the loss of her second child, she received treatment and has since been well. While she doesn’t exercise frequently, she maintains a healthy lifestyle, uses medications like Tylenol or ibuprofen as needed, and follows balanced eating habits. She is fully committed to a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Dear Intended Parents,
Hi there and thank you for taking the time to read a little about me!
I’m loud, outgoing, and usually cracking a joke—even if it’s not always at the right time. I live a full, happy life with my husband, our daughter and son, our dog, and a flock of chickens that definitely have personalities of their own. We love being outdoors, whether we’re gardening, camping, or riding ATVs through the woods.
After my last pregnancy, I knew I didn’t want more children of my own, but I also knew that my body handled pregnancy well. I had looked into donation before, but when I was told I couldn’t go that route, surrogacy stayed in the back of my mind. Now that it’s finally legal in Michigan, I knew it was the right time to help someone else build their family.
This is my first surrogacy journey, and it means a lot to me to be able to do this. If you’ve made it this far in your journey to become parents, then you deserve to have a child. Whatever your background or story is, I believe love makes a family, and I’m here for it.
I don’t have expectations about the kind of relationship we’ll have—I’m happy to go with what feels comfortable for you. Whether you’d like to stay closely connected throughout the process or keep it more hands-off, I respect your space and will always be open and honest along the way.
I also want to share a little piece of my heart: My husband and I were young when we found out we were having our first child, but we took it as a sign that we were meant to be together. We lost our second baby, and that pain shaped how we view parenthood. Later, when our youngest was little, he told us that his brother chose him to come to us—and that we’d be awesome parents. I carry that belief with me always: that everything happens when and how it’s meant to.
Whether I’m the right surrogate for you or not, I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for, and that your dream of holding your child becomes a reality soon.
Warmly,

Kimberly Smith
